Timing Attack
Linking events by correlating when packets enter and leave a network — a class of traffic analysis against anonymity systems.
Global passive adversaries with visibility at both ends of a circuit remain a research threat. Everyday risks more often involve behavior and metadata than perfect timing correlation.
